AL WHITTLE THEATRE
This soft-seat venue features 160 comfortable seats, each with a prime view of both stage and screen! In addition to a 16' by 30' projection screen, stylish black drapes, a 26' x 40' sprung wooden stage floor, and nice gear for live sound production, the theatre also features a complete Dolby Digital 5.1 cinema sound system, and some very swinging, state-of-the-art acoustical wall panels. There's even a place (on every seat!) to put your favourite hot or cold beverage, which can be purchased from the Just Us Café, conveniently located in front of the theatre lobby.

Since the fall of 2004, when it officially opened its doors, the Al Whittle Theatre has hosted a large array of events including:

STUDIO-Z
Studio-Z is a 22' x 40' multi-purpose room above the Al Whittle Theatre lobby. The venue, which features a bank of 35 cushioned theatre seats, a digital projector and screen, a PA system, and a smooth wooden floor, is ideal for intimate concerts, small theatre productions, meetings, classes, rehearsals, and more.

To request a rental booking for the Al Whittle Theatre or Studio-Z, please contact us.

Please note: Bookings will be considered tentative until a signed rental contract and a deposit (or payment in full) is received by the theatre manager. To guarantee inclusion in our Calendar of Events, and other facility promotions, we recommend confirming your booking early.
