Barbie — 7pm followed by a discussion panel on feminism

Time to break out the pink!

Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.

Whether you missed it in theatres this summer or you want a chance to rewatch this modern phenomenon before it takes over at the Oscars, come join us to see Barbie at the Whittle!

Everyone is invited to come early for a pre-movie party in the Just Us cafe, happening from 6pm-7pm! Complete with a Barbie-themed drink menu, desserts, and music. You won’t want to miss it!

Following the film, Sophia Bush Anderson will lead a lively discussion panel around feminist themes in the Barbie movie, featuring local guest speakers Kathy France, Emily Lockhart, and Wendy Elliott.

Nominated for Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards. Think it will win? Vote in our Oscars contest!
