Canada’s National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women — 4pm

Free; No Registration Required

Thirty-four years ago, fourteen young women were targeted and killed because of their gender in a mass shooting at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal (December 6, 1989). This hate crime led Parliament to designate December 6 as The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women.

On Wednesday, December 6th, we recommit our efforts to ending gender-based violence with a community march beginning at Clock Park at 3:30 PM and ceremony at the Al Whittle Theatre at 4:00 PM.

All are welcome.
