Art imitates life as a dozen young dreamers adapt Charlotte Lennox's novel into their own play in the hopes of lifting the spirits of a dear friend facing a big change. Drawing from Cervantes' original, the play-within-the-play follows Arabella, a young woman who flits through the world as though it were her own personal fairy tale. But as the play progresses, she must reckon with the realities of love and loss—and so too must this group of young women learn to hold each other up in a fast-changing world.
