Whitflix is back and we are again teaming up with Ross Creek Centre for the Arts to celebrate local talent and creativity with Whitflix: The Short Film Festival.
You have a story to share - and we want to see it on the big screen!
Here’s how you can enter a film in Whitflix*:
Craft a short film on a smartphone, tablet or any camera you choose (under 5 minutes long)
Submit your film here by 11:59pm on April 30, 2025.
OK, so there’s a few extra steps we left out - like editing. But that’s basically it.
What happens once you submit your short film?
Our jury (to be announced) will review all of the films in 3 age categories:
(a) 8-13 years
(b) 14-18 years
(c) Over 18
Finalists will be contacted after the jury’s results are in.
Finalist films will be screened at WhitFlix: Gala Short Film Celebration and Awards, which will take place at the end of May. A selected film in each category will win an awesome prize! Winners will be announced at the Festival Gala screening.
