Judges for Whitflix The Short Film Festival Announced

 Al Whittle Theatre and Ross Creek Centre for the Arts announced today the judges for this year’s Whitflix: The Short Film Festival, which challenges participants to craft a short film (under 5 minutes). In previous years, the competition only included films captured on a smartphone or tablet. 

Short film submissions are due Wednesday, April 30th, 2025. All genres of short film are welcome – explore drama, comedy, animation, documentary, experimental, or even a music video!

Films will be judged by a joint programming committee appointed by Al Whittle Theatre and Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, and we’re thrilled to announce the judges are Reid Price, actor known for Sullivan’s Crossing; Dawn, Her Dad & the Tractor; and FROM, Katelyn McCullough, actor, writer, and director known for Everybody Loves Meg, and Tara Taylor, writer/director and culture columnist for CBC.
