Al Whittle Theatre is excited to announce Share2Win, an opportunity to support your local community and win free movies for 2025. Buy a share in the Acadia Cinema Cooperative (ACC) between November 1st and December 31st to be entered for your chance to win!

Each share purchased between now and the end of the year counts as an entry in the contest—and gives you the opportunity to have a say in your local community, with voting power in the Acadia Cinema Cooperative. Shareholders are also eligible to join the ACC board, and get first access to special promotions including poster sales, merchandise, and more!

Early birds get an extra entry to win free movies—purchase a share before December 1st and your name will be entered twice! Want to give someone else a chance to win? Gift a share this holiday season and give them a shot at winning free movies for the year.

Al Whittle Theatre plays films for every type of movie-goer—from your favourite retro classics, to the best of awards season—including our winter film series featuring the newest critically acclaimed films. With showings typically every Sunday at 4:00pm and 7:00pm—and 7:00pm alternating Wednesdays—there’s always something for everyone playing on the big screen! 

The draw for the winner of free movies in 2025 will take place on January 1st, 2025. Winners will be contacted directly first, and then announced on Al Whittle Theatre’s website and social media (@alwhittletheatre).
